At the debut of the Dahaad trailer, Gulshan Devaiah gives Vijay Varma another tease regarding Tamannaah Bhatia

Regarding relationship rumours involving Tamannaah Bhatia, Gulshan Devaiah teased Vijay Varma, his Dahaad co-star. It's something he's done before.

Gulshan Devaiah has once again made fun of his co-star Vijay amid allegations that the two are dating. Vijay Varma and Tamannaah Bhatia. In fact, Gulshan dropped a not-so-subtle suggestion about Tamannah in front of the media at the recent trailer release for Prime Video’s Dahaad, making Vijay blush.

Once-in-a-lifetime fans caught Vijay and Tamannah sharing a kiss at a Goa New Year’s celebration, the speculations began to circulate online. The stars were recently seen out and about in the city together after eating. The actor was present at the debut of the Prime Video series Dahaad’s trailer, as shown in the Instagram video posted by a paparazzo account. When asked why he doesn’t grin more, the actor said, “I will really refuse to ask anybody to smile for me you know.”

At this point, Gulshan said sarcastically, “Humari bari tamannaah thi ki aap hase.. (it was my wish that you smile a little).” As Sonakshi Sinha, who was standing next to him, began laughing at Gulshan’s response, Vijay blushed. He did not, she emphasised.

In the comments area, several admirers discussed the programme, but Gulshan Devaiah added a humorous note for Vijay. ‘Meri Tammannah toh tu tha,’ he wrote. It’s “achcha dhokha diya hai tune mujhe.” By the grace of God, Meri Izzat Nai Luti (You were my hope, but you deceived me.) nai toh… hello Ram. I am grateful that my reputation has not been tarnished.

In Dahaad, Sonakshi Sinha plays a police officer who decides to investigate a horrifying crime. Gulshan Devaiah and Sohum Shah appear alongside Vijay in the film. The eight-episode program’s synopsis stated: “When a number of women are discovered dead in public restrooms under suspicious circumstances, Sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati is charged with leading the investigation.”

As the investigation develops, she starts to believe that the apparent suicides may have been the work of a serial murderer who is still at large, setting off a gripping game of cat and mouse between a skilled criminal and an underdog officer.

May 12 marks the release of Dahaad on Prime Video. The film will be directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi. In addition, Vijay has the Japanese novel The Devotion of Suspect X adaption by Sujoy Ghosh, starring Kareena Kapoor, scheduled to come out this year. Previously, he appeared in Darlings on Netflix.
