It’s never been a drama-free season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and this one is looking to be no exception. Erika Jayne, who notably skipped a scene involving a group supper when the cast was visiting Barcelona, Spain, is the subject of the most recent talk around the show.

The other cast members didn’t allow the absence of the “Pretty Mess” singer deter them as they posted multiple pictures of their Spanish journey on social media. The girls were definitely having a fantastic time as they strolled hand in hand along the pier and posed playfully with a Spanish guitar musician.

Fans, however, immediately noticed Erika was missing from the dinner scene with the group that was recorded at Les Quinze Nitz in Barcelona. Some viewers conjectured that Erika may have been downgraded to a “friend of the cast” or perhaps fired from the programme.

Others had better excuses, like Erika had to leave early to get ready for her residency in Las Vegas, which was coming up. On August 25, 2023, the House of Blues Las Vegas will host the premiere of her performance, “Bet it All on Blonde,” according to Variety. Erika could have had to put her work obligations ahead of the filming schedule in order to fit everything in.

Erika has mysteriously disappeared on cast outings before, which is interesting. Erika was not present in a photo Dorit Kemsley posted of the RHOBH cast in Las Vegas in March 2023. Later, Kyle Richards mockingly uploaded the identical image along with a modified GIF of Erika.

There hasn’t been an official confirmation from Bravo yet, despite the rumours regarding Erika’s status on the show. To learn the cause behind Erika’s absences from the group trips, viewers will have to wait until the next season premieres.

Given the continuing legal controversy involving Erika’s ex-husband, Tom Girardi, some fans have also speculated that she could be experiencing personal difficulties.
