While debuting at the Met Gala in a white gown, actress Alia Bhatt won hearts. The actor was depicted in a number of images and videos taken outside the event location. As Alia left the location, fans could be heard shouting for her in a video. As she waved at them, she grinned.
As she stood in front of the venue, many of her fans kept calling her name. Following a quick turn, Alia gave them a kiss and waved. Several fans shouted, “We love you.” “Thank you,” the actor responded loudly. Also, I adore you. Along with laughing, she formed a heart with her hands. In response to the video, one viewer commented, “Looking so pretty in white like an angel.” A second individual said, “Wow.” Looking lovely, it said in a comment.
Alia wore an ivory ballgown with 100,000 hand-beaded pearls from India as an embellishment for the occasion. Alia wore an exaggerated basque waist ball gown with hand-beaded pearls by Prabal Gurung, which was made of white silk, tulle, and satin face organza. She wrote, “Met Gala — Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” as the caption. The recognisable brides from Chanel have always captivated me. The most avant-garde and breathtaking couture was produced season after season, showcasing Karl Lagerfeld’s brilliance. This, specifically supermodel Claudia Schiffer’s 1992 Chanel bridal dress, served as the inspiration for my look tonight.
The statement from Alia was followed by, “I wanted to make something that felt real (hello, pearls!) and proudly manufactured in India. The needlework was a labour of love for @prabalgurung and contains 100,000 pearls. I’m so pleased to wear you to my first Met. You can never have too many pearls for a girl, along with the appropriate accessories to complete the appearance, in this case a pearl hair bow. Oh, and the colour is white for my Choup-ED.
The annual event, which is held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, this year honoured the late iconic German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, who passed away in 2019 at the age of 85. “In honour of Karl” was the dress code, and the subject was “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.”
