Ponniyin Selvan 2 by Mani Ratnam is off to a great start as the historical drama has already surpassed the $100 million mark on its second day at the box office. The whole cast of the movie is enjoying the positive feedback it has gotten. While they were waiting between takes, Sobhita Dhulipala, who plays Vaanathi, Trisha Krishnan’s Kundavai’s friend, shared a humorous photo of the dozing “prince” Jayam Ravi taken from a vanity van. Sobhita posted the following on Instagram: “Hardworking Yaanai Paagan (mahout) #PS2 @jayamravi_official.” Four pictures were included in her message. She is dressed up in the first two photos as she takes a picture with Jayam when she is dozing off. In the first image, she is grinning mischievously, while in the second, she is gazing at her co-star while she snoozes. In the other two pictures, Sobhita is once more dressed up and making jokes while she waits in her vanity vehicle.
Trisha responded with “Hahahahahahaha.” Jayam hasn’t responded to Sobhita’s pictures yet. The fans joined in on Sobhita’s lighthearted jab at Jayam in the post. One follower said on Twitter, “Resting after elephant ride (laughing face and heart eyes emojis) @jayamravi_official.” Another said that it “didn’t suit the royal look.” One person said Sobhita’s phrase “Yaanai Paagan” was the ideal fit for the unguarded photograph. Another admirer chimed in, saying to keep reporting bizarre stuff about co-stars.
The actor previously posted more behind-the-scenes photos with Aishwarya Lekshmi, another co-star. Last day of PS1 and 2 shooting, Sobhita wrote. Post-image wrap. I’m grateful for the affection, the memories, and the honour that have been given. I’m Romba romba nandri, and I’m crying (emoji). “Nooooooooooooooo!” was Aishwarya’s response. This wasn’t intended to be made public.

Ponniyin Selvan 2 (2022) continues where Ponniyin Selvan 1 left off. The activities of the characters portrayed by Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, and Jayam Ravi are also highlighted in the second movie.
